Frequently Asked Questions

What Are Your Qualifications?

I’ve absolutely loved organizing for as long as I can remember and have been professionally organizing since January 2025. I’m a Professional Member of NAPO and working toward becoming a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO). My approach is practical, compassionate, and focused on creating systems that work for real life—kindly and without judgment. I like to joke that I've been doing this for fun since I was toddler, and doing it for a business since January 2025. It comes naturally to me and I truly enjoy it, and I think that's part of why I succeed in this role. However, I also believe certifications DO matter. As a Professional Member of NAPO, I stay connected to industry best practices, continuing education, and ethical standards designed to help clients create lasting, functional systems in their homes and lives. I’m also currently actively working toward becoming a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO). This credential is a nationally recognized certification that requires extensive hands-on client experience, continuing education, and passing a rigorous exam.

How Much Does This  Cost?

It really depends on the service and level of support you need. I offer flexible options for different budgets, including free monthly workshops, virtual sessions, in-person sessions+, and DIY resources for $20 and under. You can always find clear and transparent pricing on my Pricing Page linked below. For virtual sessions, my rate is $30 for each half-hour session, $45 for each one-hour session, and $85 for each two-hour session. For in-person organization, the rate is $75 per hour, with a two hour minimum. While I'm obviously running a business, I am also truly passionate about this topic and helping others. As a result, I think it's important I offer something for EVERY possible budget level. This is exactly why each month, I do my free recurring workshop - packed full of my favorite tips and tricks for getting and staying organized. I also offer very affordable support for the DIYers, including a number of digital files on my store, and my favorite Amazon product recommendations on my Amazon Storefront - many of which are very budget friendly! Both are linked below for easy reference. + in-person sessions are limited to clients in or near Laurel County, Kentucky +

How Long Will This Take?

Every space and client is different, so timelines vary widely. Some projects take just a couple of sessions, while others need more time depending on the space, your pace, your goals, and the level of support you want. My focus is creating lasting systems that work for you—not just a quick fix. I wish it was a simpler answer, but quite honestly, there’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. I've had a small kitchen be done in two hours and I've had a small kitchen take two full days. This is also exactly why the industry standard for professional organizers is to charge hourly rates versus project totals. My goal isn’t just to organize a space for today—it’s to help you build practical, personalized systems you can actually maintain long-term. Along the way, I’ll also help you develop skills and strategies to confidently tackle ongoing organizing challenges on your own.

How Does Virtual Organizing Even Work?

Virtual organizing is like having a professional organizer right there with you — just via video. I’ll guide you through the process step-by-step in real time, helping you declutter, create functional systems, problem-solve, and stay motivated with accountability and body-doubling support while you do the hands-on work. I'm the plan, you're the hands! Virtual organizing is flexible, accessible, personalized, and surprisingly effective—whether you’re tackling one problem area or creating systems for your whole home. Plus, because we’re building solutions together, you’ll gain skills and strategies you can continue using long after our sessions end.

Will You Judge My Mess?

This one requires caps: NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT.  Life gets busy, overwhelming, and complicated—and clutter happens for sooo many different reasons. This is a completely judgment-free space where you can be honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need help with. Whether your space is mildly cluttered or feels completely overwhelming, we’ll tackle it together at a pace that feels manageable for you. However, this is something that a lot of clients struggle with and why I now offer virtual sessions even for locals. A lot of people have deep shame about their home being "chaotic," and are not comfortable letting a stranger into their home to see it all. And I completely get it. As women (my core client base), we are taught that we should keep immaculate homes, while also juggling a million other tasks - the mental load, parenting/caregiving, a career, and on and on... and on. It's too much to juggle for most people, and that's where I come in.  My role is to support you. I am on your team! Think of me as your village.  My goal is to help you feel more calm, confident, and empowered —not ashamed.

What Method Do You Use?

I don’t follow one of the popular organizing methods you may have seen elsewhere—though, to be fair, many of the core concepts are similar, even if the terminology differs. Instead, I’ve developed my own approach: the K.I.N.D.A. Method. With my method, the “K.I.N.D.” part focuses on the process of getting organized, while the “A” stands for Adaptation—maintaining and adjusting systems as real life changes. That maintenance piece is something I personally feel is often overlooked or minimized, but it’s one of the most important parts of creating organization that actually lasts.

Will You  Make Me Throw Away All My Stuff?

No, never! Will I help you make these decisions and encourage you to declutter? Sure. That's part of my job! But at the end of the day, it is your space, your stuff, and your home. I will NEVER make that choice for you. If I suggest purging an item and you say no, I may ask some additional questions to understand why or help you think through your reasoning, but your answer is what goes. At the end of the day, I will never toss anything against your will or without your input and agreement. That would be extremely unethical of me and would erode the trust between us.

Can You Organize Alone
On-Site?

Technically, yes (sometimes). Ideally? Not really. It depends on the project and your comfort level, but in most cases, I recommend being present when possible, especially during the decluttering process. Since I’ll never decide what to keep or purge for you, your input is critical for making decisions that feel right and align with your goals. That said, every situation, client, and space is different. Some clients prefer to work side-by-side throughout the entire process, while others are comfortable stepping away for parts of the organizing, and some others say, "please keep it all but sort and tidy it while I'm at work!" The results will vary depending on the approach, but YOUR satisfaction is the goal. As a result, I'm very flexible. We’ll find an approach that works best for your space, schedule, and needs.

Can You Always Help Me Reach my Goals?

Honestly, no. Sometimes, clients aren't ready to make the changes needed for long-term solutions and that's okay! You cannot be forced into making changes you are not willing or simply not ready to make. Even in those instances, I will help as much as I can and meet you wherever you are. I sometimes may have to share some tough love that if habits and routines don't change, the organization will be very difficult to maintain. While I cannot promise that you will achieve every goal, I can promise to do my best to help as much as I can, to always be honest and open with you, and to let you know if I recommend additional resources that span beyond my expertise and scope.
